Clean and cut the Aattukkal into 3 to 4 pieces.

Heat oil in pressure cooker add bay leaf, clove, cardamom, cinnamon and fennel let it pop then add onion, green chili and curry leaves sauté till little brown then add ginger garlic paste sauté for a minute.

Add tomato let it cook till tender and then add all powder spices mix well, and add Aattukkal pieces sauté for a minute, then add required water , salt and Umami seasoning AJI-NO-MOTO® stir well, once water start to boiling close the lid allow to cook till 15 to 20 whistle.

Once it’s complete open the lid and if you want adjust the seasoning make it your shelf and then garnish with chopped coriander and mint leaves then serve hot.

If you need curry just add little coconut paste cook for a minute and serve hot with Dosa, Idly and Idiyappam.
